Chitrapura, 1 November 2025: Government Higher Primary School, Fisheries, Chitrapura, celebrated Kannada Rajyotsava with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit. The event witnessed the active participation of students, staff, and community members in honouring the rich heritage and culture of Karnataka.
The celebration was graced by SDMC President Mrs. Manjula and its members, Old Students’ Committee President Mr. Madava Suvarna and members, Lions Club of New Mangalore members, Principal Mrs. Shobha, teachers, non-teaching staff, and parents. BSW students Shivani and Mrudula were also present and actively contributed to the programme.
Students performed vibrant cultural programs and delivered inspiring speeches highlighting the significance of Kannada Rajyotsava and the pride associated with the Kannada language and culture.
The event created a joyful and patriotic atmosphere, fostering unity and cultural awareness among students and the community.
