Mangalore, August 23, 2024: Manel Srinivas Nayak Institute of Management (MSNIM) hosted a successful Job Fair at its Besant Campus in Bondel, Mangalore. The event saw participation from 450 job aspirant graduates from various disciplines, including BCom, BBA, (link unavailable), B.Pharma, MBA, MCom, and B.E.

The Job Fair featured 44 companies, offering packages up to Rs. 8 lakhs per annum. The inaugural program was graced by Chief Guest Mr. K. Natraj Hegde, Vice Chairman of CII Mangalore-Udupi, and President of the Programme Mr. Manel Annappa Nayak, President of WNES. Dr. Molly S Chaudhuri, Director of MSNIM, was also present.

In his address, Mr. Hegde emphasized the importance of corporate exposure for students in today’s competitive job market. He praised MSNIM for its excellent faculty and infrastructure, which provide students with the necessary exposure to management education.

Mr. Nayak advised students to explore companies that offer overall learning and experience, rather than just focusing on big brands and higher packages. He encouraged students to stay with companies even if it means working under pressure, as this can add valuable experience to their careers.

The event was coordinated by Dr. Reema Agnes Frank, Associate Professor, MSNIM, and Mr. James Prasad, Placement Officer. The welcome address and introduction were given by Ms. Shreya Mahale, an MBA 1st-year student, who also served as the MC for the program. Ms. Ramya Shetty, another MBA 1st-year student, proposed the vote of thanks.
