Mangalore, 10 March 2025: Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and Women’s Cell jointly organized a Women’s Day program in New Seminar Hall. The event featured Dr. B.K. Sarojini, Senior Professor and Chairperson, Department of Industrial Chemistry, Mangalore University as the chief guest.
Dr. Sarojini emphasized the importance of respecting each other to achieve gender equality. Dr. Sayed Ameen, Dean – Student Affairs, & Director, CMSR highlighted the progress made in gender equality. Dr. Surfraz J Hasim, Principal, PAFGC delivered the presidential remarks.
The program was attended by faculty members, students, and esteemed dignitaries including Ms Shafinaz, Admission Officer, PAET, Dr Iqbal, Physical Director, PACE and heads of various departments. The event was skillfully moderated by Ms. Afra Sheik from I year BCom. The gathering was welcomed by Ms Nada from I year BBA, and the esteemed chief guest was introduced by Ms Safwa Nisar from II year BCA. Ms. Muneera, Assistant Professor in English, read the preamble, and Ms. Thashmeem from I year BBA delivered the vote of thanks. The event was a resounding success, inspiring attendees to accelerate action towards a more equitable world.
