Mangalore, 20 November 2024: IQAC, in association with ICT Academy, organized the inaugural ceremony of the Infosys Soft Skills Training Program as part of a CSR initiative by the Infosys Foundation.
The event took place at 3:00 PM in Seminar Hall 2 and was graced by Mr. D. Vishnu Prasad, Deputy General Officer of ICT Academy, who served as the chief guest. In his address, Mr. Vishnu Prasad spoke about ICT Academy and the various benefits it offers to students. He also highlighted the BFSI training program conducted by ICT Academy the previous month, underscoring its value in providing students with practical skills for career advancement.
The resource person for the soft skills training program, Ms. Preethi Lekha, Soft Skills Trainer at ICT Academy, was also present. The event was attended by several dignitaries, including Mr. Vignesh Shetty, Relationship Manager at ICT Academy; Mr. Sharafuddin PK, AGM (Campus); Dr. Syyed Ameen Ahmed, Dean (SA) & Director (CMSR); Dr. Surfraz J. Hasim, Principal (PAFGC); Mr. Mohammed Faizal, Head (CPOD); Dr. G. Harikrishnan, Vice Principal (PAFGC); Ms. Deepti Udyavar, Head of the Department of Commerce and Management; and Ms. Vanishree Y, IQAC Coordinator.
The training program aims to equip students with essential soft skills to enhance their employability and help them succeed in the competitive job market.
