Mangalore, September 26, 2024 : PA First Grade College inaugurated its Public Speaking Club (PSC) on 25 September 2024 at 11:00 a.m. in the Multi-Purpose Hall, aiming to foster effective communication skills among students.
Dr. Alwin Vincent D’Sa, Registrar, St. Aloysius College (Autonomous), Mangalore, was the chief guest. In his address, Dr. D’Sa emphasized the importance of public speaking, introducing the “ASK” theory – Attitude , skill, and Knowledge.
Other dignitaries present included Dr. Surfraz J. Hashim, Principal, Dr. G. Harikrishnan, Vice-Principal, Ms. Vanishree, IQAC Coordinator, Mr. Mohammed Faizal, Head – CPOD.
Dr. Surfraz J. Hashim, Principal, delivered the presidential address, stressing the significance of public speaking in shaping students’ personalities and careers. He encouraged students to actively participate in the PSC’s activities.

The coordinators outlined the PSC’s annual activity plan, featuring debates, extempore speeches, storytelling sessions, Inter-college competitions.
Students expressed their expectations and enthusiasm for the club’s activities.
