Mangaluru, 23 August 2025: The National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit of Swastika National Business School, in association with JCI Mangaluru Samrat, inaugurated a Two-Day Residential Workshop on Effective Public Speaking (EPS #6) at the Swastika National Business School campus.
The workshop was inaugurated by Dr. Sheshappa Amin, Assistant Professor, Department of Sociology & NSS Programme Coordinator, Mangalore University. In his address, Dr. Amin emphasized the importance of public speaking as an essential life skill that enhances confidence, leadership, and effective communication among students.

Mr. Roshin Bobby, Business Head of New Textile Center, Mangaluru, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. He inspired the participants by sharing insights from his professional journey and highlighted how communication skills play a pivotal role in personal and professional success.
The resource persons for the workshop include JCI Sen. Dr. Raghavendra Holla N, Author, National Trainer JCI India & Chairman of Swastika National Business School, who will serve as the Pilot Trainer, and Jc Queenie Mariya Dcosta, National Trainer JCI India, who will guide the sessions as Co-Faculty.
In addition to the EPS workshop, the NSS Unit Activity 2025–26 was also inaugurated during the program. This marked the formal commencement of a year of impactful social outreach initiatives by NSS volunteers of Swastika National Business School, aimed at community service, youth empowerment, and nation-building.
The two-day residential workshop has been designed to empower participants with practical tools and strategies to overcome stage fear, build confidence, and deliver impactful presentations. Interactive sessions, activities, and real-time practice opportunities form the core of the training.
The inauguration marked the beginning of an enriching learning experience aimed at nurturing confident communicators and effective leaders.
