Udupi, 10 November 2024: In a thrilling display of athleticism and teamwork, IMJ Institute of Science & Commerce, Moodlakatte secured the third prize in the Udupi District Level Kabaddi Tournament. The tournament, held on 9th November 2024 at Ajjarakadu Ground in Udupi, saw fierce competition among over 16 degree colleges from across the district.
This prestigious event was jointly organized by the Udupi District Administration, District Panchayat, Karnataka State AIDS Prevention Society (Bangalore), District Health and Family Welfare Department, District AIDS Control and Prevention Unit, District Youth Service and Sports Department (Udupi), Amechur Kabaddi Federation of India, and Government First Grade College, Tenkanidiyur. The tournament aimed not only to promote Kabaddi but also to raise awareness of crucial health and social issues.
The team from Moodlakatte IMJ Institute put on a remarkable performance, earning applause and recognition from organizers and spectators alike. Their victory was celebrated and congratulated by the management, principal, vice-principal, and faculty members of the institution.
