Mangaluru, November 20, 2025: Swastika National Business School, Mangalore, conducted a Community Outreach Program on Dental Hygiene at Government PU College, Hampankatta, on Thursday. The session aimed at spreading awareness about the importance of oral health among students.
The resource person for the program, Ms. Shreenidhi, a II B.Com student and soft-skills trainer, addressed the gathering and highlighted simple and practical steps to maintain proper dental hygiene. Then Ms Shobana , a II BCOM student explained the importance of regular brushing, routine dental check-ups, healthy eating habits, and early identification of dental issues. The interactive session allowed students to ask questions and clarify common misconceptions related to oral care.
The event was organised by students Shobana, Vandana, Yajna, and Preethika, who coordinated the program as part of their community engagement initiative.
Students expressed that the session was informative and motivated them to adopt better oral hygiene practices in their daily lives.
