Haleyangadi, 24 October 2025: Government First Grade College & PG Studies Centre, Haleyangadi, organized “Vaividhya – The Melting Pot of Cultures” on October 24, 2025, at 9:15 AM, celebrating the vibrant and diverse heritage of India.

The event was presided over by Dr. Kiran M, Principal of the college. Mrs. Poornima, President of Haleyangadi Gram Panchayat and an alumna of the institution, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The program was further enriched by the presence of esteemed guests and judges — Mrs. Vidushi Shailaja Shivashankar, Mr. Shaivin V. Shettigar, and Mrs. Shashi Suresh — who appreciated the students’ enthusiasm and creativity.

“Vaividhya” served as a dynamic platform for students to express and celebrate India’s cultural plurality through traditional dances, folk songs, and regional art forms. The performances highlighted the importance of unity in diversity and fostered a spirit of inclusivity and mutual respect among the student community.

The event reflected the college’s commitment to nurturing cultural awareness, creativity, and national pride among its students, making it a truly memorable and colorful celebration of India’s rich cultural tapestry.
