Mangaluru, 19 October 2025: A free dental check-up camp was organized at Swastika National Business School, Mangaluru, in association with JCI Mangalore Samrat, JCI India Zone XV, Mangalore SEZ Limited, and A.B. Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences (NITTE Deemed to be University) under the Rashtriya Seva Yojana.
The camp aimed to promote oral health awareness and provide free dental consultations to students and staff. A team of expert dentists from A.B. Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences conducted oral examinations, offered professional guidance, and educated participants on maintaining good oral hygiene.
The event began at 8:00 a.m. at the Swastika campus, Sulthan Bathery, Mangaluru, and witnessed active participation from students, faculty, and volunteers. More than 100 beneficiaries availed free dental check-up and consultation services during the camp.
Dr. Amitha Ramesh, Head of the Department of Periodontology, Dr. Rahul Bhandary, Dean of Student Welfare, Dr. Rakshath Bhandary, and their team extended valuable support in ensuring the smooth conduct of the event.
The initiative reflected Swastika National Business School’s commitment to community health and service, spreading awareness about preventive oral care and overall well-being.
