Mangalore, 21 November 2025: As a part of ‘Samparka Sanchara #1,’ a community outreach programme, Swastika National Business School conducted an Eco Art and Craft workshop on November 21, 2025, at 11 AM, in association with D.K.Z.P. Higher Primary School, Krishnapura, Katipalla. The initiative aimed to promote creativity, practical learning, and crucial environmental awareness among the school children.

The session was led by Mr. Jithesh, Soft Skill Trainer from Swastika National Business School. Before beginning the craft activities, the team interacted with the students and taught them about waste management, recycling, and the importance of protecting the environment. This helped the children understand how thoughtful habits can bring positive changes to their surroundings.

Students then took part in various eco-friendly craft activities with great enthusiasm. They created vases using waste bottles, flowers using pista shells, and tried weaving using old sarees. These activities encouraged them to think creatively and showed them how simple materials can be transformed into beautiful and useful crafts.

The programme was successfully organised by Chaitra (II B.Com), Kavya (II B.Com), Bhavisha (II B.Com), and Modakshi (II B.Com) under their community engagement project. Their efforts made the event educational, interactive, and memorable, leaving the students inspired to adopt eco-friendly practices in their daily lives.
