Kulai, 17 November 2025: A Community Outreach Programme on the topic First Aid at Hand was conducted for the students of DKZP Higher Primary School, Kulai Fisheries. The session aimed at creating awareness and equipping children with essential first aid skills that can help them respond safely during emergencies.
The resource person for the programme was Ms. Mrudula, III BSW student from Swastika National Business School, who explained the basics of first aid in a simple and practical manner. Students learned how to handle minor injuries, cuts, burns, and nosebleeds, along with the importance of staying calm and seeking adult help when needed.
Through demonstrations and interaction, students gained clarity on the immediate steps to be taken during common accidents. The teachers appreciated the initiative, highlighting that such sessions help build confidence and preparedness among young learners.
The programme concluded on a positive note, with students showing enthusiasm and a better understanding of first aid practices.
