Moodalkatte, October 4, 2024: A ‘Dengue Awareness’ program was organized under the Youth Red Cross Unit at the IMJ Institute of Science and Commerce, Moodalkatte. The resource person of the event, Dr. Vidya from the Basroor Primary Health Center, explained the causes of dengue, how it spreads, the preventive measures to be taken, and the symptoms of the disease.
Dr. Vidya also provided information on common primary health concerns and vividly explained the necessary preventive measures. The principal of the institution, Dr. Pratibha M. Patel, presided over the event and delivered the opening remarks, Vice-principal Mr. Jayasheela Kumar, Youth Red Cross coordinator Ms. Shrinidhi were also present at the event. The program was hosted by third-year BCA student Tarana Shetty.
