Mangalore, September 3, 2024 : Swastika National Business School continued its Orientation Program for the new batch of the academic year 2024-25, emphasizing essential life skills, grooming, and professionalism. The second day of the program, held on campus, featured insightful sessions led by distinguished speakers and faculty members.
The day’s events commenced with a session by Mrs. Vidyalakshmi P. Shetty, Lecturer in Commerce and NSS Officer at Swastika National Business School. Leveraging her extensive academic experience and commitment to student welfare, Mrs. Shetty provided an overview of the commerce field and enlightened students on various competitive exams, including IAS, IPS, CA, CS, and CFA, highlighting the diverse career paths available to them.
Following this, the students participated in an engaging session on grooming and personal image titled “Elevate Your Image,” conducted by Mrs. Chethana S., Proprietor of Chethana Beauty Lounge, Mangalore, accompanied by her team. Ms. Chethana shared her expertise in the beauty and wellness industry, offering practical tips on presenting oneself professionally. She emphasized the importance of appearance and etiquette in the corporate world, covering topics such as cleansing, skin and hair care. The session included a practical demonstration on facial care and guidance on selecting appropriate hairstyles for different face structures, which the students enthusiastically participated in.
The Orientation Program will continue over the next two days, with additional sessions designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in their chosen fields.
