Pilya, December 15, 2025: As part of the NSS One-Day Community Outreach Programme, a Cyber Safety Awareness session was successfully conducted at the Government Upper Primary School, Pilya, with the objective of educating school students on the safe and responsible use of the internet and digital devices.
The programme was organized by Ankitha, Manyashree, and P. Shreedeeksha under the National Service Scheme initiative, in association with Swastika National Business School, Mangaluru. The session was held on December 15, 2025, at 10:30 AM.
The awareness talk was led by Mr. Ashwath Poojary and Mr. Poornesh A, Soft Skill Trainers from Swastika National Business School. The resource persons interacted with students in an engaging and student-friendly manner, covering key topics such as online safety, cyberbullying, responsible use of social media, safe password practices, and ethical digital behavior.
Students actively participated in the session, raising questions and sharing their experiences related to technology usage. The interactive nature of the programme helped students clearly understand the importance of being cautious and responsible while using digital platforms.
The programme played a significant role in creating early awareness about cyber safety and promoting wise use of technology among young learners. The initiative reflected the commitment of Swastika National Business School and its NSS unit towards community development, digital awareness, and student empowerment.
