Jeppinamogaru, 03 November 2025: Swastika National Business School, affiliated to Mangalore University, Mangaluru, organized a Community Outreach Programme in association with DKZP Higher Primary School, Jeppinamogaru on 03 November 2025.
The theme of the programme was “Mobile Addiction.”The event was conducted as a part of the Fieldwork Practicum of the Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) course.The resource person for the session was Ms. Ganavi K N, a student of II BSW, Swastika National Business School.
She highlighted the causes, effects, and preventive measures of mobile addiction among students and youth.The talk focused on how excessive mobile use affects concentration, sleep, and relationships.
She also shared practical tips on using mobile phones wisely and maintaining a healthy digital balance.Students of DKZP School actively participated in the session and shared their experiences.
The session created awareness among young learners about responsible technology use.The programme received positive feedback from teachers and students alike.
It was appreciated for its relevance and interactive approach.The event concluded with a vote of thanks, followed by group interaction and feedback.
The entire programme was organized by Ms. Gowriprabha, II BSW, under the guidance of faculty members.
