Mangaluru, 23 October 2025: Swastika National Business School, Mangaluru, affiliated with Mangalore University, in association with Gurupura Grama Panchayat, organized a Community Outreach Programme titled “Wellness on Your Plate” on October 23, 2025, at Gurupura Grama Panchayat Hall.
The session was conducted by Ms. Nikitha, a III BSW student and Soft Skill Trainer at Swastika National Business School. The programme aimed to raise awareness about the importance of maintaining wellness through balanced nutrition, mindful eating, and healthy lifestyle choices.
During the session, Ms. Nikitha highlighted how dietary habits directly influence both physical and mental well-being. She also provided practical tips on incorporating locally available nutritious foods into daily meals, promoting sustainable and healthy living.
The event witnessed active participation from the local community, who appreciated the initiative taken by the institution to promote health and wellness at the grassroots level.
The programme was organized by Ms. Nayana, a III BSW student, under the guidance of the Department of Social Work, Swastika National Business School.
