Mangalore, 1st October 2024: Swastika National Business School, in association with Grama Panchayath, Ganjimata, and Urdu Government Primary School, Ganjimata, organized a successful Community Outreach Programme titled “Wake Up to Wellness” on October 1, 2024. The program aimed at spreading awareness about the dangers of substance abuse, particularly among young students and the local community.
The awareness session was facilitated by Jyothi K.R. and Varsha B.S., both students of III BSW at Swastika National Business School. The resource persons shared critical insights into the causes, effects, and preventive measures related to substance abuse, highlighting the importance of early intervention and education. They engaged the audience with interactive discussions, real-life examples, and tips on how to identify and support individuals struggling with addiction.
The programme was well-received by the attendees, including students, parents, and community members. The initiative was organized by III BSW students, Madhumitha H.P. and Varshitha, who ensured the event ran smoothly and effectively.
