Belthangady, 26th July 2024: Vani Pre University College’s NSS unit marked the 25th Kargil Vijay Diwas with a significant event of honoring Mr. Lakshman G. D., a former BSF personnel, and Mr. Victor Krasta, a former Indian Army soldier.
Mr. Victor Krasta, a former Indian Army soldier, delivered a powerful message about the duty of every Indian to protect the nation. During his address, he stressed the value of military training and national service, reflecting on his experiences in Kargil as transformative.
Mr. Lakshman G. D., a former BSF personnel, inaugurated the NSS activities by lighting the ceremonial lamp. He shared insights about the Kargil War and urged students to pursue excellent education and consider serving the nation as soldiers, emphasizing the fulfillment and significance of such a path.
The event was presided over by Mr. Kushalappa Gowda, President of Vani Educational Institutions; Mr. Vishnu Prakash M, Vice Principal of the college; and NSS Program Officer Mrs. Deeksha. College Principal Mr. Yadupathi Gowda welcomed the guests, while NSS Program Officer Mr. Shankar Rao B thanked everyone. Kumari Anuksha officiated as the program’s host.
