Mangaluru, 21 March 2025: The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) in association with the Department of Computer Applications and IT Association of [College/University Name] organized a Career Counseling Session on “AI-Driven Professions: The Landscape of AI – Overview & Applications” on March 21, 2025.
The session, held at Seminar Hall-2, commenced at 10:00 AM and was attended by BCA students, faculty members, and esteemed guests. The event was graced by Dr. Mohammed Zakir B, Associate Professor and Head, Department of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, P.A. College of Engineering, and Vice Principal Dr. G. Harikrishnan.
Dr. Mohammed Zakir B delivered an insightful talk on the history of AI, its applications, and its impact across various fields. He shared examples of AI’s evolving relationship with humans, including the famous chess-playing AI, Deep Blue.
Vice Principal Dr. G. Harikrishnan emphasized the importance of such sessions in preparing students for the future and expressed a desire to organize more sessions like this. The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Amani Amreen from 3rd year BCA.
