Mangalore, 17 September 2025: The Student Forum and NSS Unit of Swastika National Business School, Mangaluru, in association with Akhila Bharathiya Vidhyarthi Parishat, Mangaluru City and supported by the Indian Red Cross Society, Mangaluru, successfully organized a Blood Donation Camp at the college campus.

The program began with a warm welcome address by Mr. Muliya Sathwik, President of the Student Forum, who highlighted the importance of youth involvement in social service activities.The Chief Guest, CA Shantharam Shetty, District President of the Indian Red Cross Society, D.K District, addressed the gathering and spoke about the life-saving importance of blood donation. He emphasized that every unit of blood donated is a gift of hope and health to someone in need.

Mrs. Shreelakshmi Shetty, Secretary of ABVP Mangaluru City, delivered the Guest Note, motivating students to continue such noble initiatives.In the absence of Dr. Raghavendra Holla N, Chairman of Swastika National Business School, the Presidential Address was delivered by Mrs. Vidhyalaxmi P Shetty, NSS Coordinator. She encouraged students to take part in humanitarian activities and highlighted the value of collective responsibility in nation-building.Mrs. Niveditha Harish, Student Welfare Officer, proposed the Vote of Thanks, expressing gratitude to the dignitaries, faculty members, students, and donors who made the camp a success.

The event was mastered by Ms. Nishmitha, who efficiently anchored the proceedings.The camp concluded on a high note, with students and faculty members actively donating blood, thereby reinforcing the message: “Your Blood Could Save A Life. Make A Difference.”
