Mangaluru, 24 October 2024: Blood donation camp was conducted at Sri Ramakrishna College on October 23, 2024, along with the Alumni Association, Akshara Charitable Trust, NSS units and the Youth Red Cross unit of SRCM.
The program was inaugurated by CA Shantharama Shetty, Chairman of the IRCS D.K. district. The chief guests were, Dr. Sachidananda Rai, Professor and Orthopedist at Srinivasa Medical College, and Dr. Gayathri N., YRC Nodal Officer of YRC Mangalore University. Mr. Praveen Kumar, Blood Bank Coordinator of Red Cross was the Guest of Honour. Dr. Anasuya Rai, Principal of SRCM, presided over the event.
Other notable attendees included Vice Principal Mrs. Prathima Shetty, NSS Program Officer Mrs. Soumya, HDFC representative Mr. Dinesh, Alumni Association staff coordinator Mrs. Bhavya, Alumni Association President Mr. Prajwal Shetty, Akshara Charitable Trust Secretary Mr. Deviprasad Shetty, and Student Union President Ms. Sathvika.
YRC Program Officer Mr. Natesh Alva welcomed the guests, and the program was mastered by Ms. Samitha from the BCA department.
The event concluded with enthusiastic participation from volunteers, alumni, and staff, resulting in the collection of 102 units of blood.
