Bajpe, 18 August 2025: A special session on Adolescent Issues was organized at St Joseph’s PU College, Bajpe, on August 18, 2025, to create awareness and provide guidance to students on the challenges of adolescence.
The resource person, renowned psychiatrist Dr. Supriya Hegde Aroor from Mangaluru, addressed the gathering and highlighted the common problems faced by adolescents during their growing years. She encouraged students to adopt a positive outlook towards life and emphasized the importance of open communication between students and teachers to ensure better learning outcomes.
The programme was held in the college auditorium in the presence of students and staff. Mrs. Renny Saldanha, Lecturer in English, welcomed the gathering, while Mr. Ramakrishna Udupa, Principal-in-charge, proposed the vote of thanks.
The session proved to be highly beneficial in helping students understand themselves better and strengthening the bond between teachers and learners.
